BEST OF THE COURT, a monthly tennis mixer pits all skill levels together in a exciting tie-break playoff. The February event is on Sunday, February 3, 2019.

In the first three rounds, each player will randomly play against each other, playing a 7 point tiebreak, accuring points after each round. In the fourth round the top ten players with the most points advance to the next round, where they will play a 9 point tiebreak. From there, the BEST OF THE COURT continues with the top four moving to the next round. The top four play a 10 point tiebreak.

Vanderbilt Home Tennis Matches 2/2 - 2/3

This Saturday, February 2, the number 2 ranked Commodores take on North Carolina at noon and on Sunday, February 3 they take on Northwestern at 1 pm. On Saturday fans will be treated with free donuts while supplies last, and Sunday the first 100 fans will receive a free pair of Vanderbilt Fuzzy Socks!

All Vanderbilt tennis matches are free and open to the public.

Mike Hurley receives 2019 Tennessee Tennis Hall of Fame Award

Mike Hurley receives 2019 Tennessee Tennis Hall of Fame Award

Tennis Nashville proudly congratulates Mike Hurley on his 2019 Tennessee Tennis Hall of Fame Award. Mike currently serves as Vice President of the Tennis Nashville board of directors.

Mike lives in Old Hickory Tennessee, and a native Ohioan. He has a long and diverse history in tennis, playing junior all district and regional tennis and varsity tennis at Ball State University in Muncie, KY.

Sandgren Wins First ATP Title

Gallatin native Tennys Sandgren captured his first singles title on the ATP tour this weekend, defeating Cameron Norrie in the finals of the ASB Classic.  Sandgren won 6-4, 6-2, never trailing in the match.  In fact, Sangren won the tournament played in Auckland, New Zealand without dropping a set.

2019 Spring NALTA Ladies' Tennis Leagues

NALTA is a Nashville area adult Ladies' Tennis League started over 35 years ago by Diane Dioguardi.  Over 2000 women participate in this competitive league that plays each spring and fall.  Women of all ages may participate in the popular Thursday Doubles Team league, Tuesday Singles Team league and Sunday afternoon Working Women's Team league.  Women age 50+ may compete in the popular Tuesday Senior Team league and women age 60+ are eligible to play in the Monday morning Super Senior Team league.
