Tennis Nashville/USTA hosted its third social league this fall at Centennial Sportsplex. The event has grown from previous seasons to boast a 54-player roster over three divisions from 2.5 to 4.5. The league, open to all tennis enthusiasts, maintains both a competitive and social nature. Keeping the play competitive by dividing into three divisions, players can be assured of a challenging evening on the courts and an opportunity meet new playing partners. We end each of the matches socializing at Martins BBQ where all of these tennis lovers can mingle outside of the playing level divisions.
Congratulations to the winners from each division:
2.5/3.0: Charles Lindquist
3.5: TIED- DJ Mukati and Zach Eddy
4.0/4.5: (returning champion) Diego Salinas
New to the social league, 3.5 division player Chiarra expressed her gratitude for a competitive league that preserved a friendly social atmosphere. Also new to the league, 3.0 player Traci stated “My USTA captain told me about the Social League, and my first season was very enjoyable. I plan to join the next one too! It’s a great way to connect and have fun with other Nashville tennis enthusiasts.”
The social league will kick off another season in the Spring! Keep up with the social league offerings and Tennis Nashville news on our website and by signing up for our newsletter!
