When it comes to returning to play on the courts, the folks at Brentwood Swim & Tennis Club have never stopped playing. With a few modifications to how the game is played, they are eager to see players on the courts again.
1. What has been the response from your members since tennis has returned to the court?
We never stopped playing, but separated courts, taught only private lessons, closed all gathering areas, took out the water jugs, sanitized often, etc.
2. Do you have unique programs designed for this season?
We are running the same programs as normal but no drop in clinics and limited numbers with social distancing practiced.
3. What do you see as the greatest opportunity, and the greatest threat for the near future of local tennis?
We are a private club and at capacity so players looking to play should check with some of the other facilities listed with you, especially the public ones.
4. What advice to do you have for those tennis players looking for a place to play?
Not too sure about threats and opportunities - we will continue to do the best job we can for our members. We will host upcoming UTR events, soon. Stay tuned.
