Community Partnerships Webinar with USTA and NRPA.

The NRPA (National Recreation and Park Association, is the leading non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of public parks, recreation, and conservation. Their work draws national focus to the far-reaching impact of successes generated at the local level.

Thanks to the USTA-Community Tennis, Tennis Nashville learned how Community Tennis Associations everywhere, are heavily and primarily involved with local Parks and Rec., actively fundraising for community public tennis courts. This being a very typical working relationship Tennis is widely viewed as a safe, physically distant activity and many P&R directors have supported the reopening of these spaces. An overwhelming majority of park and recreation agencies have playgrounds (93.9 percent), basketball courts (86.5 percent) and tennis courts (81.1) in their portfolio of outdoor assets.
